The Opportunity
HGST was releasing a new line of NAS hard drives that offer enterprise performance and feature a unique stabilization technology, but are aimed at the SOHO market segment. The challenge for HGST was that their in-house marketing team was already operating at its limits and needed to develop rollout materials in short order while maintaining an expected level of quality.

The Approach
Since technology marketing is our core strength, AIM was the perfect resource for HGST to partner with. Our professional team already knew the product category and target market well and there would be no painful learning curve. AIM was immediately able to work in lockstep with HGST’s marketing team and take some pressure off, allowing them to focus their efforts elsewhere.

The Result
The HGST Deskstar NAS hard drive launch was a wide-ranging success. AIM provided sales and marketing collateral, a mini web banner campaign and an introductory video. Resellers and end-users alike received the new drives enthusiastically and HGST’s marketing team was able to concurrently develop other materials for the rollout.
